As all comic fans will doubtless know, Latveria is the hangout of the Fantastic Four’s bitterest enemy, Doctor Doom. Located at the heart of the legendary city of Bologna, Latveria is surrounded by the architecture and atmosphere of
the world's oldest university. In its first-floor laboratory, graphics, lettering, video, web, photography and visual art are wondrously transformed into Design. And i
ts founders, Gianluca Bernardini and Andrea Carnoli mix constantly with young minds thanks to their role as ‘contract professors’ at the Bologna Art Academy and The European Design Institute in Milan. A few of the brands we have worked our magic on over the years, include:
Brooks Brothers (B.R.A. Meltin’Pot: start up,
product graphics, advertising (from media plan to television), web presence, affiliate mktg and gamification for 15
years. Hogan (fashion): logo restyling. Gattinoni: restyling, labelling and look book. Les Copains: labelling and
brand profile. Berluti Paris (LVMH): video presentation. Killer Loop and Play Life: product graphics. Rifle: a little bit
of everything for 7 years. Pacific Trail: ditto for 4 years. North Sails and Henry Lloyd: photo and video shoots. Alcott: photo shoots, catalogues and ad campaigns. In our pre-Latveria dimension we also worked with: Avirex, Big Star, WP-Lavori in Corso (Woolrich), Vans, Maui and Scorpion Bay. We have designed web presence for David Morales (US DJ), and Bonatti SpA’s tenth anniversary event. We’ve been style consultants for Atlantic (Morocco) and we have designed a top line for Derri Design (Istanbul, Turkey), a
presentation video and trade fair booths for Shamrock (Turkey) and Ramsey (Turkey). We have also designed web presence for Integrata (Italy) and acted as style consultants for the Italian Arezzo Wave music festival for 7 years. We have completely restyled (naming, packaging and adv) the Farmac-Zabban product
range and produced web videos for Banca Etica. We have also worked with the electronic music scene for years. We turn marketing strategies into communication products. We use t-shirts, products, stores, trade fairs, clubs, magazines, streets, television and electronic devices to promote communications. We conduct photo shoots at home and across 4 continents. We participate directly in constructing strategies. Naturally, over the last ten years, everything has begun to centre on the Web. In fact, our first e-commerce project dates back to 2004. The murky depths of Latveria also house the DMC Bologna (Design Management & Consulting) laboratory, a Design
Management research centre dedicated to innovation and improving performance through Design Thinking. We are not a sales company. We are not a web agency. We are not PR consultants. Our fiendish plan is to spread the cult of transmedia storytelling. And so, if a significant part of your resources are not

FAWI (Fondazione Arezzo Wave Italia), Farmac-Zabban e Banca Etica. Ovunque abbiamo tradotto le strategie di mktg in progetti e strumenti di relazione. Abbiamo usato le t-shirt e il prodotto in genere, i negozi, le fiere, i club, i giornali, le strade, la televisione e i device per comunicare. Abbiamo realizzato shooting sotto casa e nei 4 continenti (esclusa Oceania). Talvolta siamo entrati direttamente nelle strategie. Nel ventre di Latveria alberga DMC Bologna (DMC sta per Design Management & Consulting), un centro di ʻricerca e consulenzaʼ sul Design Management per la PMI le istituzioni e i centri di formazione, sui temi dellʼinnovazione attraverso workshop, formazione e coaching (http://dmcbologna.org/)
Non abbiamo prodotti da vendere. Non siamo una web agency. Non siamo MKTG manager. Comunichiamo Corporate, B2B e B2C costruendo team con risorse interne (azienda) e in outsourcing. Abbiamo completamente digerito il principio del transmedia storytelling e se, ancora oggi, una parte rilevante delle risorse per la comunicazione non sono spostate verso il web cʼè qualcosa che non va.
