Still daydreaming about the soft neutrals and delicate details that perfectly complemented the charm of . We created two custom venue illustrations for C & L – one highlighting the iconic blue doors and another capturing the unique and intimate Spanish-inspired architecture that makes this venue so special.

Who said paper has to feel 2-dimensional? This bridal shower suite was farmer’s market inspired, and full of playful, personal touches—perfectly fitting for Madi, her love for Sam, and her love of karaoke.

From the basket-shaped pocket to the pear-shaped cards (“Sam & Madi make a great pear” 🍐), every piece was designed to feel fresh and a little unexpected.

Each layered piece tucked into the paper basket added an interactive element for guests that created a special experience well before the event even began.

Wax seals have been in use for thousands of years — even before the invention of paper. 💌

Early forms of seals appeared across ancient civilizations:
• In Egypt, signet rings were pressed into soft clay or wax to authenticate documents.
• In China’s Han Dynasty, officials used seals to secure scrolls.
• In Ancient Rome, beeswax seals served as marks of authority and authenticity.

By the Middle Ages, wax seals had become a mark of status — often adorned with intricate monograms, family crests, and used to safeguard against forgery. Some even carried secret codes and hidden love messages woven into their placement, color, and design.

Throughout history, the wax seal has remained a symbol of authenticity and significance.

Today, the tradition continues — carrying an enduring message: whatever lies within, matters. ✨

This beauty for Samuel & Madi’s “Fresh off the Market” bridal shower is layered with personality and charm — featuring several die-cut details and a picnic basket brimming with paper produce.

Designing pieces like this brings me so much joy — interactive, tactile, and made to be remembered long after the day is over.
