The Phoenix Circle returns to Milan during Milan Fashion Week with a new edition exploring the relationship between identity, perception and self-determination.
For its second edition, this reflection takes shape through PASSPORT, a project developed by ARA LUMIERE under the vision of its founder, KSW, in collaboration with contemporary artist Raghava KK. Together, they explore the ways identity is perceived, represented and ultimately reclaimed.
Through different layers of interpretation, each portrait moves from an institutional image to the artist’s perspective and, ultimately, back into the hands of the person portrayed. A process of reclaiming one’s own image and the freedom to define how we choose to be seen. More than a portrait, PASSPORT becomes a reflection on authorship and identity and on the possibility of being more than what others see.
In Milan, this reflection extended beyond the works themselves and into the experience surrounding them. Negri Firman produced the event at GALLERIA GABURRO, overseeing the exhibition curation, set-up, graphics, coordination and catering management, shaping an environment that reflected and complemented the vision of PASSPORT. Alongside the event production, Negri Firman also managed the involvement of partners Samsung and Ferrari Trento, further supporting the experience surrounding the project.
