Long before I travelled to Poland, I already knew the image I wanted to create.

Not a traditional stallion portrait.

Not another photograph made to document a horse.

An image built around shape, light, contrast and mystery.

Everything was created in front of the camera.

The details in the following frames are there for a reason: to show that the illusion was real long before the shutter was pressed.
