International Women’s Day, but…
Celebrating only one gender can feel like an unnecessary distinction,
as if a woman’s value — or anyone’s value — needs to be remembered on a specific date.
Equality doesn’t belong to a single day on the calendar.
Respect doesn’t either.
Nor does leadership.
Nor opportunity.
This day exists because history made it necessary.
Because rights were not always equal.
Because space was not always shared.
And that matters.
But the goal is bigger than celebration.
The goal is normality —
where talent is recognized without labels,
where leadership is measured by impact,
where value is not seasonal.
