Goal:⁠
I was assigned the task of designing the destination management company website for luxury travel planning in France⁠
⁠
How did I help⁠
The top travel France design has its roots in a minimal and elegant design capable of expressing the concept of luxury and elegance in accordance with the company's mission⁠
I slightly redefined some aspects of the logo using a graceful font to symbolize elegance. I also rearranged the logo on two lines to take advantage of the space in height and insert the different destinations⁠
The graphic interface is the synthesis of the concepts expressed first of luxury and elegance by combining warm but at the same time elegant colors, A classic but impactful typography⁠

Capri on Board is a Yacht Management Company based in Capri, specializing in yachting, sea transportation, and logistics. They are specialized in Tailor-made services for Yacht charter, luxury yachts, daily excursions & mini-cruises.⁠
⁠
Goal:⁠
I was assigned the task of redesigning the website of the yacht management company based on the most famous Italian island.⁠
⠀⁠
How did We help⁠
After a research work on the main metrics of the site, I reformulated the entire navigation focusing on some essential parameters such as the age of the visitors and the interests of the latter. The identity of Capri onboard has been revised as a whole by revolutionizing the colors and typography but leaving the historic logo intact. Our main focus was to allow the user to request information in a clear and easy way but above all in a very short time. For this reason, my focus was on the different forms.⁠

Results:⁠
The focus on search results has allowed having excellent results in the last year on the SEO side and new visits as well as new requests from the different contact forms.⁠

Maria Saggese UX/UI Design⁠

About Client:⁠
Maria Saggese is a professional photographer specialized in the Light Painting technique, thanks to which she manages to combine photography and art.⁠
⁠
Goal:⁠
Building Maria Saggese's site was a great challenge to best represent her art and photos. The website wins also a Special Kudos from CSSDA⁠
⠀⁠
How did We help⁠
Designing a completely dark website allowed me to highlight the images of Maria who, through to the light painting technique, used the light to bring out the subjects of her photos. The first step was the creation of a sitemap in order to better organize all the activities from courses to special events etc. The brand focuses precisely on the trails of light and even the primary blue was sampled by a light effect created with a LED while taking its photos. The logotype was instead recreated on two different styles repeated throughout the site. The main feature of the website is its immediacy in the use of the photographer's works by focusing on the minimal aspect in terms of structure and layout but at the same time enhancing the photos.⁠

Results:⁠
In 2020 the site won the "Special Kudos" award from the well-known CSS Design Awards site. It was also named Best Site of Fall 2020 by CSS Fox Platform.⁠

1) Muzli 2: If you want to stay up to date on the world of design you absolutely have to change the chrome home screen to that of muzli 2.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
2) Nimbus: Nimbus allows you to take screenshots of your browser, portions of them, record videos. ⁠⁠
All in one tool.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
3) Fonts Ninja: If when you see a site you often wonder what font was used, this extension is for you.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
4) CSS Peeper: This extension will allow you to extract not only the colors from a website but also all the assets (icons, images, etc.)⁠⁠

5) Site Palette: Another must-have tool for designers which allows you to quickly extract an entire color palette from a website.⁠⁠

Is really important for a UI Designer to have the best visual. Here you can find 5 golden rules to have a good visual.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
1) White space: Always keep the right space between the elements, this will allow greater readability and understanding of the content.⁠⁠
Pay attention also to the margins and padding, if you use a grid using the multiples of that grid.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
2) Contrast: The text and images should have at least a contrast of AAA 4.5:1⁠⁠
Larger text should have at least 3:1.⁠⁠
You can use online tools to check the contrast ratio or plugin like “Stark”.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
3) Alignment: Try to keep a single alignment for your sections. Avoid using different alignments in order to promote the readability of your content and avoid a messy effect.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
4) Hierarchy: Give the elements of your UI the right degree of importance, highlighting the most useful information by changing, for example, style or text color.⁠⁠
⁠⁠
5) Size: Avoid using too small texts. While it may be readable for you, you have to consider the different screen resolutions.⁠⁠
