On May 26, at the , the press opening of e altre visioni delle superfici: Hsiao – Rotta Loria – Tornquist took place within the Sala Belvedere ahead of the exhibition’s public opening today.

📍 Sala Belvedere — Palazzo Reale di Napoli
📅 May 28 — August 1, 2026

Curated by Giovanni Granzotto, the exhibition retraces the research of Alberto Biasi, one of the central figures of Italian Kinetic and Programmed Art, placing his practice in dialogue with Gilbert Hsiao, Claudio Rotta Loria and Jorrit Tornquist.

Across installations, light-based environments and dynamic surfaces, the exhibition explores perception as an active process, where colour, movement and visual instability continuously reshape the relationship between artwork and viewer.

Promoted by Palazzo Reale di Napoli and the Direzione Generale Musei del Ministero della Cultura, the project unfolds as an intergenerational and international reflection on surface, perception and contemporary visual experience.

HF4 was pleased to curate the communication surrounding the press opening of an international exhibition within one of Naples’ most significant historical spaces.

During , presented Ciclica within the National Pavilion of Sierra Leone, transforming climate change into an immersive visual and symbolic experience through a site-specific multimedia installation.

Curated by , Ciclica unfolded through a multimedia installation composed of thirty-six upcycled screens and a choreographic performance by .carew, with original music by MKDB.

Moving between data, mythology, light and moving images, the work investigated the fracture between natural order and human intervention, developing a reflection on ecological collapse through a visual language suspended between shadow, perception and transformation.

Inserted within Worlds of Today, curated by Sandro Orlandi Stagl and W***y Montini, the installation became part of a broader dialogue around environmental justice, coexistence and contemporary resilience.

During , presented Manar within the Pavilion of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea at Palazzo Donà dalle Rose — marking the country’s first participation in the official programme.

Developed within The Forest: The Undergrowth, curated by Joan Abelló under the direction of commissioner Paulo Speller, Manar unfolded as a vertical and generative organism shaped through paper, cellulose, iron and cassava paste.

Moving between organic matter, transformation and ancestral symbolism, the work explored the relationship between human beings, nature and invisible systems, activating the forest as both spiritual and contemporary landscape.

HF4 was pleased to develop and curate the communication for Ingrid Seall throughout this project in Venice, following a practice suspended between material experimentation, rituality and regenerative processes.

On 8 May, Astral journey into the timeless borders by Alberto Di Fabio opened in New York at the GR Gallery, in the context of the IRAE editorial project by , in collaboration with the Richard Avedon Foundation.

The project translates contemporary physics into a visual experience, moving from the infinitely large to the infinitely small, where cosmic structures and neural networks mirror each other as part of a single living system.

At its core, Di Fabio’s language transforms images from the Hubble Space Telescope into synaptic constellations — galaxies become networks, stars turn into impulses — shaping an immersive field where macrocosm and microcosm collapse into one.

HF4 curated the press office, supporting the visibility of a project that moves between art, science and editorial research on an international scale.

On 17 April, Dante Ferretti, con i miei occhi, curated by Raffaele Curi, opened in Rome at the Musei di San Salvatore in Lauro.

The exhibition offers a concise insight into Ferretti’s practice, focusing on the origin of the cinematic image, where space is still intuition and vision takes shape before becoming film.

At its core, the sketch emerges as a complete act: not a preparatory step, but a space where painting and cinema converge, defining a visual language that moves across authors and geographies.

On view until 19 July, HF4 curated the press office, supporting the visibility of a project that reframes scenography within the broader field of visual culture.
