Another Questionable Matt Moment
Okay, I (Matt) absolutely expected to get hate on this and I will get what I am given. Because what I did was very questionable. Thoughts? 🤔
Story time! 📖
So today we were waiting in line for the cable car 🚠 when this dolled up woman 💅 and her snooty teen daughters decided queues were apparently not for them. 🙄
They pushed straight in front of everyone and laughed about it. Others tried telling them they were rude but they kept laughing said “no understand” and continued laughing. 😒 They ended up directly behind us. They then started physically rushing us onto the cable car while blocking Tij from getting on. And because the universe has a sick sense of humour, we then ended up trapped in the same cable car with the three of them. Just us and them. 😬
They continued laughing, pointing and very obviously talking about us. Normally I would take the direct approach and say “excuse me that was rude” but that approach had been tried by others and failed. So about 1 minute into the 5 minute journey I decided diplomacy had failed and biological warfare was the only remaining option. ☣️
I suddenly developed the most violent, chest rattling cough imaginable. 🦠😷 It was awful. This chest rattling cough would last the remaining 4 minutes (I’m feeling great now by the way). 😂
They had instant regret! The atmosphere changed dramatically. 👀
The laughing stopped. Their faces dropped. 😨 They pressed themselves against the opposite side of the cable car and couldn’t get out quickly enough when we reached the bottom. 🏃♀️💨
Was it mature? No. ❌
Was it morally questionable? Possibly. 🤷
Did it make me feel better? 100% ✅
4 out of the 5 of us thought it was funny and deserved. 😂 Jake thought it was immature (I also know he’s right too). Although Jake’s disgust helped create the atmosphere I would looking for. 🤣
I am torn between not a proud moment and “well done Matt”. 😇😈 I am sure you guys will help me figure it out. 😂
