Production doesn’t slow down for tooling.

In cosmetic automation, every new format means new components and tighter deadlines.
That’s where things usually break. 🚨

IDM Automation needed custom parts for their filling and powder-handling systems — fast, precise, and ready to integrate.
Traditional manufacturing wasn’t keeping up.

3D printing works in production only if certain rules are respected.
After years of working on additive production, these are the factors that truly make the difference:

20 years of Additive Manufacturing.
One lecture. One room full of sharp questions. ✦

last week, our Head of 3D Division Andrea Barchi was a guest lecturer at IED Milano, in a Product Design session organised by Professor Francesco Leonardi.

We traced the full arc:
from SLA wax and MJP for jewellery prototyping in Valenza in 2006, through the industrial leap of HP 3D Printing Multi Jet Fusion, to Carbon DLS™: a platform built for scalable serial production, injection-mould quality, no tooling, no minimum quantities.

Real projects. Real impact:

Still a common belief. Still a limiting one.
