Gold accents and a structured image system guide the reading of Tintoretto’s Crucifixion, moving between detail and whole. Designed around the painting’s recent restoration, the volume pairs an elegant layout with a rich iconographic apparatus.

A deep red field is the stage for ‘Oedipus Rex’, produced by Teatro Stabile di Bolzano. Rigid, interlocking lines of text build a sense of tension — almost claustrophobic — evoking the inescapable destiny that drives Stravinsky’s timeless work.

In its third issue, inVenice reflects the city as a living interface between tradition and innovation.
Gold typography glitches and reassembles, evoking the digital pulse of Venice’s autumn exhibitions — a landscape in constant motion, made of pixels and light.

For ‘Un gioco senza amore’, produced by Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, we explored absence through typography. Letters shed their essential parts, dissolving into voids and silences. A visual language of subtraction, where what is missing speaks as powerfully as what remains. A graphic gesture that distills the narrative into a sign both fragile and profound.

Volume 1 of ‘I Quaderni dell’Albero d’Oro’ unfolds through works exhibited at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani. ‘Una bambina di Lorenzo Tiepolo’ offers a renewed perspective on the artist, capturing a moment when his rhetoric wanes. A refined, dynamic design amplifies the painting’s inquietude, distilling its delicate tension into visual form.

For the visual design of ‘Mein Kampf’, produced by Teatro Stabile di Bolzano, we captured the play’s tension and relentless crescendo. A deep red background, rooted in the era’s iconography, sets the tone. Ultra-compressed, woodcut-inspired typography creates subtle friction. At the center, a child’s face—cropped, obscured, sculpted by light and shadow—emerges as an unsettling presence. Every element amplifies the claustrophobia of Stefano Massini’s vision.

From our archive: ‘Accordi di Profumo’, a volume designed for The Merchant of Venice’s exhibition in collaboration with Givaudan. Through elegant design and delicate engraved illustrations in warm, natural tones, the book celebrates the communities worldwide that harvest the rarest raw materials in perfumery.

For the catalogue of ‘Jaume Plensa. Janus,’ exhibited last September at the Church of San Gallo in Venice, we explored the concept of contrast—violence/peace, chaos/harmony—central to the artist’s work. This duality is reflected in a bold black-and-white palette and a typographic composition that plays with solid areas and voids.

Posters designed for ‘Kind of Miles’ by Paolo Fresu, produced by Teatro Stabile di Bolzano. The use of gold tones echoes the precious legacy of Miles Davis, reinterpreted in the performance.

For the cover of Poesie by Antonio Bux, we were inspired by the very essence of the volume: a collection of the author’s works that now come together, overlap, and create new relationships. A unified yet multifaceted dimension, where the poet’s past and present works merge and transform into something entirely new.
