Factory Jersey

Factory Jersey Factory publish award winning media titles in the Channel Islands and by franchise in other regions.

Since 2004, we’ve had the same objective; marrying traditional print with a modern approach to media and marketing. 2017 will also see us adding a new brand and growing our digital footprint for the first time, adding to our established places property portal. Gallery, our flagship title, is the longest running independent periodical in the channel islands. Our other publications have grown to com

pliment Gallery’s lifestyle focus; each having defined their own market sector. Over the following pages you can learn more about each publication, its ethos, dates and details of publication along with rates and booking packages. We take a flexible, open approach to client relationships and love working to accomplish clients’ communication objectives through all our titles. We create beautiful publications and communication for clients and individuals wishing to adopt a similar approach. Factory is the both the brand name we use to cover all our projects and client work but it’s also where we live; a turn of the (last) century former industrial barn on Minden Street. Call in and we’ll be happy to talk to you about magazines, marketing, media and just about anything else interesting...

There's no doubt that the world of work has been massively affected by Covid for most. We took the decision to rationalise our print schedules to match our clients' needs as we all roll with the economic punches. We're busy working on an Autumn edition of Gallery and it was great to get the latest Islander and our 'Bridge' edition of What's On, the official guide to Jersey produced in partnership with Visit Jersey, out this week. The latter takes us through to March '21, when things will hopefully be a little less crazy for everyone and there will be more things on, and more tourists!

Factory is proud to announce today that we have been awarded the tender for the development of Jersey’s What’s On tourist publication and App for the next three years by Visit Jersey. We look forward to developing the well known name in a new format, creating a new pocketable, convenient and quality offering for Jersey’s visitors to be retained throughout their stay and beyond.

Although we have published media in Jersey under Gallery Magazine, places.je, Appetite, Direction and other brands for 12 years we have not, to date, applied our local publishing experience to a publication aimed directly at visitors. As keen consumers of tourist related publications and platforms around the world, we love a great tourist guide and feel that What’s On has great potential. By combining essential content and event listings with engaging features and a map, we plan to develop it into a best in class title. Published throughout the year with a new focus on the seasons and quarterly campaigns, What’s On will retain a high print run and wide distribution, built on the requirements set in previous years but with a more focused, curated approach to the guide.
