The lynching of failed. A lot of people think the 2024 rap feud was a fair and objective, but that is completely wrong.
It was a calculated, corporate style ambush. The entire music industry basically teamed up to take down an empire that Drake spent fifteen years building.
What makes it crazy is that Drake actually helped build the careers of the very same people who turned against him.
The way everyone jumped on Drake at the same time felt way too organized to be an accident. It didn't look like rappers getting inspired; it looked like a business meeting where everyone planned their moves in advance.
First, an entire group of producers, executives, and artistes all stopped working with him at once to make him stand alone.
Then, they flooded the internet with a non-stop wave of diss tracks and features, trying to overwhelm him so he couldn't even fight back.
They also created fake news about PDF Files in order to benefit from cancel culture. However since it wasn't factual info, many fans didn't bite the bait. Nevertheless they went on the Superbowl with the false narrative.
Finally, they used all their fanbases together to make it look like the entire world had agreed to banish him.
In rap history, beef usually happens because of a personal problem. Here, the only problem was that Drake was too big. They didn't just want to win a battle; they wanted a total regime change.
The worst part of the whole situation wasn't even the frontline attackers. It was the absolute lack of loyalty from the people Drake fed for years.
Artistes like Future, J. Cole, , and even , men who built major parts of their success off Drake features and co-signs.
They should be completely ashamed of themselves. Whether they actively joined the pile on or hid in the shadows keeping quiet, they bit the hand that fed them.
For the last fifteen years, getting a Drake feature was the ultimate cheat code in the music industry.
It made unknown artistes famous, blew up streaming numbers, and saved careers.
But when everyone started jumping him, the people who owed him the most suddenly had nothing to say.
The situation makes you wonder what else is happening behind closed doors.
If a group of powerful people can conspire like this to tear down the biggest artiste in the world, what else are they coordinating?
They didn’t just keep it in the music industry, they actually got major record labels and even professional athletes involved in a rap beef.
It makes no sense. Music and sports are two entirely different worlds, so what the hell are athletes doing picking sides and getting involved in a musician's conflict?
The saddest part about it is how gullible fans are. People consumed the drama like mindless entertainment without ever stopping to realize how strange, unnatural, and orchestrated the whole thing actually was.
The ultimate twist is that the plan to end Drake completely failed.
You can change the algorithms, get executives on your side, mix sports and music, and put ten guys on the same song, but you cannot just erase fifteen years of history.
You can't just steal the throne. He went right back to breaking massive records on Spotify and Billboard.
He even passed Michael Jackson for the most number one hits by a solo male artiste.
A boardroom meeting isn't enough to tear down a stadium, and despite everyone jumping him at once, Drake is still sitting at the absolute peak.
You failed.
