We enjoyed a summer afternoon on our rooftop with a traditional Japanese game of Suika-wari (smashing watermelons, not pumpkins).
Contrary to the smashed watermelon, we strengthened our team bond by interacting with various team members beyond our day-to-day projects.

What is relationship design?

For us, relationship design is the core of what we do.
Cairo, our founder and executive partner shares his story of how he founded relativ* and the importance of relationship design in an interview with Forbes Japan Career.

“What is important for a company's sustainable business growth is to build good mid-long-term relationships with customers. Instead of focusing too much on immediate sales and making the relationship with customers short-term, we need to grasp the feelings of customers and make them fall in love with the brand itself. That is the kind of business we wanted to develop.”

Growth can be an uphill battle, but for us, it has largely been full of learning, joy, and most importantly, gratitude.

April 17th was our 8th anniversary since we started relativ*.

From 5 members and 1 client, we've grown to more than 30 members, and more than 10 clients, and we've even expanded to markets outside Japan.

We thank you all for your continued support.
We couldn't have made it here without all of YOU.

Christina joined relativ* two years ago as the leader of our Design team. In that time Christina has been instrumental in developing e-commerce, experience design, and creative communication solutions to business problems. Clients love her and we love her.
