しまばら火張山花公園のコスモス / Cosmos flowers in Shimabara Hibaruyama Hana Koen park in Nagasaki prefecture.

平成新山をバックに1000万本のコスモスの絶景を楽しめる場所です。
ここのコスモスは背が高いから、全体を綺麗に撮るには踏み台があった方がいいな🤔という一回め訪問時(2020)の反省を活かし、二回め(2021)は踏み台持参で行きました。

This is a spot where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of 10 million cosmos flowers with Mt. Heisei Shinzan in the background.
Since the cosmos here grow tall, I realized during my first visit in 2020 that a step stool is needed to get a nice, full shot.
Learning from that experience, I brought a step stool with me on my second visit in 2021.

「花の駅せら」のコスモス / Cosmos flowers at Flower Station Sera in Hiroshima prefecture.📲2024/10/10 —
来月に見れる絶景です。
約500万本(センセーション系)のコスモスと夕焼け・日の出の風景は圧巻！—It is the beautiful scenery we can see next month.The sight of roughly 5 million cosmos (‘Sensation’ series) set against the sunrise and sunset is stunning!

女満別空港近くのひまわり。
「夏りん蔵（なつりんぞう）」という背丈が低めのひまわりらしいのですが、そうだったかな…。
予定時刻になっても風向きなどの関係で飛行機がこの場所を飛ばなくてガッカリした、飛行機の高度がその時によって違うので撮影が大変だった、などの方がすごい印象に残っています。

Sunflowers near Memanbetsu Airport.
They’re supposedly a shorter variety called 'Natsurinzo,' though my memory is a bit hazy...
What I remember most vividly is the frustration of planes not flying overhead as scheduled due to wind conditions, and how challenging it was to shoot because their altitude varied every time.

北杜市明野のひまわり(サンフィニティ)の小道。
たくさんの花が長期間咲くのが特徴のヒマワリですが、一般的なひまわりのイメージとはちょっと違うので、密度を意識して撮影しました。

A path of 'Sunfinity' sunflowers in Akeno, Hokuto City.
While these sunflowers are known for blooming numerous flowers over a long period, they look a bit different from the typical image of sunflowers, so I focused on capturing their dense cluster feel.

The red (‘Red Hill’ variety ) and white salvia were in full bloom.
‘Red Hill’ is known for branching out a lot and growing super lush, and compared to when I came a month ago, I thought it has filled out so much!

サルビアの赤(レッドヒル)と白が満開でした。
レッドヒルは、たくさん枝分かれしてモリモリ咲くのが特徴だそうで、一ヶ月前に来た時に比べて、すごくボリュームアップしてるな！と思いました。
