FALLING IN LOVE WITH MONEY: Escape the Poverty Trap

LESSON 2: Communication is central to all relationships. Do you talk & listen to your money💰? Do you read your income statement, bank statement or payslip to see what the figures are telling you? When you shop, do you check the receipt to see whether you have only paid for the items you have picked. One of the most unfortunate things in sub-Saharan Africa is financial illiteracy. Educated people with degrees but the don’t how much they make, what they consume and what remains in their pockets or accounts. You will only manage to plan for your future if you learn how to communicate with your money; bank statements, loan statements, tax invoices, payslips and income and expenditure statements. These tell you a lot and ask some questions. Answer the questions honestly with love 💕 & your relationship with your money will endure all storms, including December. The more you communicate with your money, the closer and supportive of each other you will become. If you forget everything else in this lesson; remember this; TO KEEP a RECORD of your MAIN income and cost centers. You should know how much you need to survive through a month on average.
