H.E Hon Paul Simba Arati today held a meeting with influencers, content creators, and online controllers at ATC, where they discussed the role of digital platforms in informing and educating the public on development and service delivery across Kisii County.
The county chief thanked the young digital team for their efforts in sharing factual information and highlighting the reality on the ground regarding ongoing county projects and programs.
Several content creators admitted they had previously been recruited to fight the governor online, but said they have now chosen to stand with the truth and keep the public informed objectively.
The influencers and online controllers unanimously endorsed H.E Hon Paul Simba Arati for a second term, citing his transformative leadership and development record across the county.

H.E Governor Hon Simba Arati, accompanied by Deputy Governor Elijah Obebo and other county officials, today visited the milk processing plant at the ATC to assess the progress of its construction.
The project is expected to boost dairy farming in the county by creating a ready market for farmers, adding value to milk products, and creating employment opportunities for residents.
The Governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting agricultural development and empowering local farmers through investment in value addition projects and modern processing facilities.

H.E Governor Hon. Simba Arati today met Kisii County revenue officers at Kisii ATC for a comprehensive revenue review meeting for the Financial Year 2025/2026.
The engagement focused on enhancing revenue collection, improving efficiency, accountability, and strengthening service delivery across the county. The Governor emphasized the importance of teamwork, integrity, and commitment in ensuring the county achieves its revenue targets for sustainable development.
He reiterated his administration’s dedication to prudent financial management and creating systems that will boost local revenue generation for the benefit of the people of Kisii County.

His Excellency the governor Kisii County Simba Arati has launched his road network development plan through showcasing a fleet of machinery for these works.
The Gusii stadium was filled beyond capacity with the crowd eager to see the heavy machines.

This will be the first among many governors to cut road development fund budget while continuously opening and maintaining the road network among other public works. In his nine sub counties, there is an assurance of good workmanship and economic empowerment through employment of over 1000 people who will be working with the machines.

The equipment include: excavators, Backhoe loaders, Bulldozers, Wheel loaders, Motor graders,rollers among other equipment. The governor also opened the mechanical maintenance unit which he recently launched and oversaw it's construction.

Other leaders who were present congratulated the governor saying in one voice he had set the bar too high for any leader in his development agenda. They included the Kisii county DG Elijah Obebo, Education CS Migos Ogamba,South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro who is also the chief whip in the National assembly, Nyaribari Chache MP Zahir Jhanda, Nyaribari Masaba MP Daniel Manduku, West Mugirango MP Stephen Mogaka, Bomachoge Chache MP Alfah Miruka, Kitutu Chache MP Japhet Nyakundi, Nominated MP Irene Mayaka, Kenyan envoy to Belgium Joash Maangi, Kisii County Assembly Speaker Philip Nyanumba, Deputy speaker Jacob Bagaka, Kisii county assembly Leader of majority Henry Moracha, among other leaders and a host of MCAs also were in attendance.

H.E Hon. Simba Arati, Governor of Kisii County, today officially commissioned the construction of the Kisii Milk Factory, a flagship project aimed at strengthening the dairy sector and accelerating local industrialization.

He was accompanied by H.E Deputy Governor Elijah Obebo, Kisii County Assembly Speaker Dr. Philip Nyanumba, County Secretary Mr. Ernest Osoro, Majority Leader Hon. Henry Moracha, Deputy Speaker Hon. Jacob Bagaka Barongo, a host of MCAs alongside CECs, Chief Officers, Directors among others.

The milk factory will enhance value addition, create employment opportunities, and provide a reliable market for local dairy farmers, ultimately boosting incomes and driving economic growth across Kisii County.

The county chief also moved on to launch the distribution of milk to all schools as his manifesto outlines. Flagging off the milk distribution to their destination, schools.

The etaya milk to schools will go along way to both feed and give good health for all ecde learners.

Headteachers and principals who attended the launch showed, openly expressed their joy for the bold step that the governor took.
