The SportPesa Legends Cup came to Mombasa and what a day it was.

Uganda Legends edged Kenya Legends 16:15 in a pulsating final that had Mombasa Sports Club on its feet from first whistle to last. A fitting result in a game that had everything: intensity, class, and the kind of camaraderie that reminds you why rugby matters beyond the scoreboard.

History is being made in Nairobi as the HSBC SVNS 2 lands on Kenyan soil for the very first time, and the response has been massive.

This global World Rugby–managed tournament takes place on 14th and 15th February 2026 at Nyayo National Stadium, with games kicking off at 9:00 AM, so fans are encouraged to arrive early.

Kenya’s Shujaa and The Lionesses will be in action against elite international teams as they fight for promotion to the top tier of world rugby. The fixtures are now out and can be viewed at https://www.svns.com/en/fixtures-and-results/svns2/nairobi
