Looking at these disturbing scenes from school surveillance cameras in Utumishi Girl's school one can wonder what really became of our children.
Boarding schools were established to address gaps that affected the previous system of education like distance security and teacher student exposure since it was a curriculum that rewarded memory over competence.
Now we have CBC which is learners centered and trains a kid on competencies.
Why can't we abolish the boarding program and better education across all our schools for equity and equality?
