They're built, they're felt, and they're shared.

A massive shout out to Aiden (Smood.P) for continuing to build with us at WHERE WE SPEAK. From the jump, he's been helping shape the sound, the feeling, and the spaces we continue to dream up together.

The best nights are built in community, and Smood.P embodies exactly that. He shows up with intention, creativity and a genuine love for bringing people together through art, culture and connection. It's never just about the music... it's about creating moments that stay with you long after the lights come up.

We're beyond grateful to have him back building with us for Vol. 2. Collaborators like this human are a reminder that WHERE WE SPEAK is bigger than a stage... it's a community.

With Italian roots and a worldly soul, Luca moves effortlessly between Hip Hop, Jazz, and Neo-Soul, bringing deep pockets, rich grooves, and a spirit of musical exploration wherever he plays.

From the vibrant live music scene of the Netherlands to stages across Europe, he's shared his craft through Jazz clubs, festivals, and collaborations spanning Soul, R&B, Gospel, Brazilian, and African genres. Now based in Naarm, he's bringing that same energy to Where We Speak Vol. 2!

We're beyond grateful to have Luca holding down the rhythm this Friday at High Note. His love for collaboration and connection through music is everything this space is about.

Joining us for Where We Speak Vol. 2 is Suban Nur Cooley - Poet Laureate of Lansing, Michigan, whose work bridges identity, culture, belonging and the power of storytelling. As an award-winning writer and professor at Michigan State University, she's inspiring audiences far beyond the classroom.
