WHEN POLITICS TRUMPS THE COMMON MWANANCHI! 💔

​It is deeply unfortunate that a section of Machakos County Assembly MCAs—led by the Speaker, alongside MCAs Ngunga, Maeke, Kavyu, PK, Douglas, Mwonga, and others—have chosen to play politics with the County Budget presented by the Finance CECM.
​In a misguided attempt to target the Governor, they are refusing to do their constitutionally mandated job. But let’s be clear about who actually suffers:

​🔴 NO MEDICAL SERVICES: The county cannot procure pharmaceuticals or non-pharmaceutical supplies. While these leaders can comfortably afford private hospitals, the ordinary mwananchi is left stranded without healthcare.

🔴 NO SALARIES: Thousands of county workers face delayed pay, throwing hard-working families into unnecessary financial distress.

🔴 NO DEVELOPMENT: Every single new project aimed at improving Machakos has been brought to a grinding halt.

​How inhumane can leadership get?

Do elected leaders really need to be forced to do the very job we voted them to do? Whose interests are you serving—yours or the people’s?

​If pushing you to work is what it takes, then prepare yourselves. WE WILL PUSH.
