WHEN POLITICS TRUMPS THE COMMON MWANANCHI! ๐
โIt is deeply unfortunate that a section of Machakos County Assembly MCAsโled by the Speaker, alongside MCAs Ngunga, Maeke, Kavyu, PK, Douglas, Mwonga, and othersโhave chosen to play politics with the County Budget presented by the Finance CECM.
โIn a misguided attempt to target the Governor, they are refusing to do their constitutionally mandated job. But letโs be clear about who actually suffers:
โ๐ด NO MEDICAL SERVICES: The county cannot procure pharmaceuticals or non-pharmaceutical supplies. While these leaders can comfortably afford private hospitals, the ordinary mwananchi is left stranded without healthcare.
๐ด NO SALARIES: Thousands of county workers face delayed pay, throwing hard-working families into unnecessary financial distress.
๐ด NO DEVELOPMENT: Every single new project aimed at improving Machakos has been brought to a grinding halt.
โHow inhumane can leadership get?
Do elected leaders really need to be forced to do the very job we voted them to do? Whose interests are you servingโyours or the peopleโs?
โIf pushing you to work is what it takes, then prepare yourselves. WE WILL PUSH.
