Engagement is an important metric that signals the algorithm and makes them prioritize your content during display.

But you barely know 50 of your followers. So how do you make your audience finally engage with you?🤔

👉Start by saying hi back in your dms👈
Dms are quite private and are easy to spark conversations. As long as you're not selling . focus on connecting. Too shy?
Start by responding to some of their stories to break the ice.

👉Reply to your comments.👈
If you already have a few comments, always reply to all if you can. If too many respond to relevant ones and save the rest for tomorrow before your post goes live.

👉Reciprocate engagement
If people discover you from out there and engage with your post, be sure to show some love to their posts too.

👉 Have a call to action.
Ask them to engage with you ; in your caption, stories, in the last slide in carousels.

Do you feel like nobody is seeing your posts?😔
There are many reasons why your audience doesn't see your posts. and one of them is due to the algorithm.

The Instagram algorithm doesn't just dump photos on their timeline , it displays content depending on many factors.

Read along for some tips on getting your posts displayed👇

Posts are displayed to your audience based on the following factors ;

👉Relevancy
Instagram displays content on topics they are actively searching for.
Tip; So start creating content that your audience is interested in.

👉Timeliness
Algorithm displays only the new feed posts between your current visit and your last visit- meaning if they check at 10 am then at 4 pm , the algorithm reorders to display the content posted during that timeline.

Tip; Go through your insights and identify when your audience is mostly on the app and post during that peak time to increase chances of your posts being displayed.

👉Relationships
Instagram doesn’t want your audience to miss important posts from important people
Instagram’s algorithm studies their past interactions to see which accounts they engage with most often and recommends posts based on their findings.
Tip; Engage actively with your audience.
