Unpopular opinion: a brand with 500 highly engaged followers will always outperform one with 50,000 silent ones.
We have seen it play out more times than we can count.
Brands chasing follower numbers, celebrating every new milestone, and wondering why the revenue isn't moving. The followers are there. The results aren't.
Because followers don't buy. Relationships do.
The metrics that actually matter are your engagement rate, the DMs coming in, the comments that turn into conversations, and the conversations that turn into clients. Those are the numbers worth obsessing over.
A smaller audience that trusts you will always outspend a larger one that barely remembers your name.
So before you pour more budget into growing your numbers, ask yourself what you're actually doing with the audience you already have.
What do you think? We want to hear your take in the comments.
P.S. If you want an honest look at your current metrics and what they're actually telling you, send us a DM. We are happy to take a look.
