Customer Engagement & Data Project Cycle – Binlog Research Limited
1. Customer Inquiry & Consultation
The client reaches out via email, phone, or social media. We hold a brief consultation to understand their data needs, scope, timelines, and objectives.
2. Proposal & Agreement
A tailored proposal is developed outlining the methodology, tools, budget, and deliverables. Upon client approval, a contract or service agreement is signed.
3. Planning & Tool Development
Our team designs data collection tools (e.g., questionnaires, interview guides) and selects appropriate software platforms (ODK, KoboToolbox, CSPro, etc.).
4. Enumerator Recruitment & Training
We identify and vet qualified enumerators based on the project scope. Training is conducted to ensure accuracy, ethical compliance, and uniformity in data collection.
5. Field Data Collection
Enumerators go to the field using mobile or paper-based tools. Supervisors monitor data quality and ensure real-time uploads where applicable.
6. Data Cleaning & Validation
Raw data is cleaned, coded, and checked for completeness, consistency, and accuracy using software like Excel, SPSS, STATA, or R.
7. Data Analysis & Interpretation
Our statisticians and analysts extract insights using appropriate analytical methods—descriptive, inferential, or predictive.
8. Data Presentation & Reporting
Results are presented in visually appealing formats: charts, dashboards, tables, and narrative reports tailored to the client’s goals.
9. Client Review & Feedback
The client reviews the output. Revisions or clarifications are incorporated where necessary.
10. Project Closure & Support
Final deliverables are submitted, and the client receives ongoing support for decision-making or publication if needed.
