Intuitive, compelling, conversion-focused design doesn’t just magically happen. Once our strategy is solid, we work hard to design beautiful, highly engaging experiences focused on creating lasting impressions and building brands. We’ve revised famous advertising professor and author, Jef I. Richards’ famous quote slightly:
“Design without strategy is called ‘art.’ Desig
n with strategy is called ‘marketing.’”
While many of us would consider ourselves weekend artists, we are definitely not in the art business. Our experienced designer works directly with content strategists to map out exactly how targeted personas navigate and ultimately reach a conversion point. Understandably, information architecture and user flows don’t usually command the attention as, say, a homepage concept. However, they’re crucial elements of our design process that allow us to create informed, interactive designs able to be weighed and scrutinized by standards beyond artistic merit alone.
