This afternoon, I attended the funeral of Erick Koech (Chesireret) from Chemosoren Village, Mogogogsiek Ward.

It was a solemn occasion as we joined the grieving family in mourning the loss of Erick, who succumbed to illness. I was deeply touched to learn that he came from a humble and needy family. He leaves behind a school-going son who is now orphaned and in need of support and prayers.

CONSULTING WITH THE GRASSROOTS

This morning, I received a delegation from Terek Location, Embomos Ward, at my home in Kapletyo. They briefed me on the areaโ€™s development status and highlighted key areas that still require attention. We also reviewed the projects I initiated during my tenure.

The delegation expressed their support for my return to serve a second term, so that we can continue pursuing and completing the vision we have for the area.

We agreed that I will visit their area soon for wider community consultations and engagement.

This afternoon, I joined family, friends, and members of the community in Kimori Village, Mogogosiek Ward, Konoin, for a Harambee fundraiser in support of the family of the late Director Joshua Rono.

Director Rono was a dedicated educationist, respected leader, and passionate farmer who devoted his life to nurturing and guiding generations of students at Kimori Academy.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, students, and all who mourn his passing. May God grant them strength and comfort.
