Our is Davido - Global Afrobeats star who just released a new album ‘Oriadé’ — out now! 💥
WHY WE LOVE DAVIDO ⤵️
The singer-songwriter and performer with a talent for outstanding songwriting and distinctive production pioneered a distinct blend of Afrobeats, R&B and hip-hop, through countless hits including “Jowo”, “FEM”, “If”, “Assurance”, “FIA”, “Blow My Mind”, “Aye”, “Skelewu” and “Gobe”. His decade-plus reign at the top of Afropop has been spent in the construction of a bridge between his music, global audience and personal life moments.

‘Oriadé’ is a 13-track genre-spanning album with strong features including “Amazing Grace” with Black Sherif, the dance-floor hit “I Know Who I Be” with JAZZWRLD & GL_Ceejay, the Afro-house influenced “Gimme Dat Ting” with NO11, “Tell Everybody” with Leon Thomas, “B4 B4” with Mayorkun & FOLA, the lively Yoruba and French delivery in “Yaya” with Aya Nakamura and “My Light” with Liona. It effortlessly moves from the classic Davido Afrobeats love-song sounds like “Already Falling” that borrows Swahili lyrics and “Zanzibar” to certified feel-good Davido-esque melodic simple bangers like “Julie”.
