We are looking for an experienced Truck(3.5T) Driver to serve our logistics department in a safe and timely manner. He/she will have the following responsibilities: -
1. Transport goods to and from the company's retail and distribution centres
2. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
3. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
4. Collect and verify delivery instructions
5. Report defects, accidents or violations
Requirements
1. Proven work experience as a Truck Driver
2. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
3. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
4. Have no criminal record
5. Valid truck driving license
6. Ability to keep time and follow instructions to the letter
7. Must be of unquestionable integrity
8. Must be able to provide at least 2 referees from the previous jobs
9. Must be 25 years and above with at least 3 years driving experience
10. Preferably living within Nairobi and its environs
