I still don't know whether my neighbor was being caring… or whether I should have been slightly concerned. 😭

For months, every time I opened my door, his door would open too.

Then I changed my routine, stayed home more, and suddenly… he noticed I had "disappeared."

The part that really got me? He'd barely spoken to me before.

Maybe there's a perfectly innocent explanation. Maybe I'm overthinking it.

But if your neighbor told you they noticed when you leave, when you're home, and when you've gone quiet… would you find that weird? 👀

“If your content plan is ‘post daily so the algorithm likes us’… you don’t have a strategy. You have anxiety. 😭

Kenyan SMEs were sold “post every day” like it’s gospel. But one post that actually says SOMETHING will beat seven filler posts.

Real price. Real result. Real objection. Real value.

The algorithm doesn’t care that you posted 7 times. It cares whether people STOP, WATCH, SAVE & SHARE.

Frequency isn’t the metric. Retention is.

Can We Be Honest About Marketing?
One thing I'm learning in this digital marketing journey:
Posting more doesn't automatically mean selling more.
You can have the nicest graphics, post every single day and still have people scrolling past your business.
Because people don't follow businesses just because they're consistent.
They follow because the content makes them feel something, learn something, laugh, relate, or solve a problem.
That's the difference between simply being active on social media and actually marketing.
So if you've been posting consistently but wondering, "Why aren't customers coming?"...
Maybe you don't need to post more.
Maybe you need to start posting with a reason.
And to be honest, that's something I'm learning and applying every day too. ❤️

The biggest lie in digital marketing?
“Just post consistently and customers will come.”
Consistency matters, but posting every day means nothing if your content gives people no reason to stop, care, remember you or buy from you.
Your business doesn't need more random posts. It needs better marketing.
If you're a Kenyan business owner trying to grow online, start asking yourself:
“Why would someone stop scrolling for this?”
That one question can completely change your content strategy. 📸

A little peek into my life lately. 🥹❤️
Somewhere between the laptop sessions, random selfies, making lunch, replying to clients, creating content from my bed and trying to convince myself that "just five more minutes" won't turn into an entire afternoon… 😂
I've realized that building something of your own doesn't always look exciting.
Sometimes it's actually very ordinary.
It's waking up, getting yourself together, making some coffee, opening your laptop and figuring out what needs to get done.
Some days I feel extremely productive.Some days I stare at my screen wondering where the day went. 😭Some days I get a great idea and can't wait to work on it.Other days I'm questioning everything.
But I'm learning to appreciate all of it.
The quiet mornings.The random ideas.The small wins.The client conversations.The content that performs well.The content that absolutely refuses to perform. 😂The days I feel confident.And even the days I have to remind myself why I started.
I'm documenting this season because I know I'm going to look back at these pictures one day and remember exactly what it felt like to be figuring things out.
No fancy office.No perfect routine.No "I've made it" story.
Just me, my laptop, my ideas, and a lot of work to do.
And honestly?
I'm enjoying the process.
If you're also building something quietly right now, I hope you know you're not behind. Sometimes you're just in the part of the story nobody gets to see yet. ❤️

That's the question he asked me. Not another crowded tourist attraction.Not another place everyone has already seen.
He wanted to experience the Kenya that locals talk about—the quiet trails, hidden waterfalls, untouched forests, and places that make you stop and appreciate nature.
