Day 2 of the Business Networking, Mentorship and Navigation module, shifted the focus from mindset to movement. Networking is not a social activity, it is a business skill that requires intention, preparation, and clarity.

With the guest trainer Elijah Profits - CEO Bulb Interactive Group, the session challenged us to stop measuring networking by the number of contacts collected and start measuring it by outcomes. The right rooms, the right conversations, and the right follow-up matter.

From elevator pitches to etiquette, positioning, and digital presence, the key lesson was clear: business navigation is about knowing where to go, who to engage, and how to move with purpose.

Networking done right creates direction, not noise.

This week was all about Networking, Mentorship and Navigation in the business world.

Day 1 reminded us that real business growth takes time. No instant coffee, no shortcuts. What looks like overnight success is often years of small, consistent actions quietly compounding.

Led by guest trainer Purity Kimotho Founder and CEO of Urban Drive - BeForward Agent, Kenya, this session challenged us to rethink networking and mentorship. It’s not about age, titles, or proximity to power, but about value, alignment, and mindset. Age is not a barrier. Mentorship flows both ways, and confidence grows through action.

From starting with a simple earrings business to building sustainable enterprises, the lesson was clear: start where you are, stay consistent, and allow relationships and effort to compound over time.

Growth is patient. Relationships are currency. Clarity beats desperation.
