✨Say ‘I do’ where Love meets The Wild…Masai Mara magic awaits!

Imagine exchanging your vows under endless skies, the Great Savanna as your cathedral, its beauty and vastness as far as the eye can see.

The rhythmic chants of Maasai warriors fill the air as they walk beside you, their vibrant red shukas swaying with the breeze. Their songs and traditional dances aren’t just celebrations—they’re blessings, connecting you to the heart of Africa.

As the sun dips low, painting the horizon in hues of amber and rose, the calls of distant wildlife and birds fill your soul, reminding you that Love, like Nature, is wild, boundless, and enduring.

Here, every detail is a celebration of life itself:
🌾 A stunning backdrop: The unspoiled plains dotted with acacia trees.
💫 An intimate connection: The feeling of being part of something greater—a reminder that we are woven into Nature’s story.
🔥 An unforgettable moment: The warmth of the Sun, and People under the Big African Sky.

A Masai Mara wedding is not just a ceremony; it’s a journey into the wild, into the soul of Africa, and into the depths of love itself.

💍 Would you celebrate your special day in the heart of the Savanna?

✨The no1 way to get results…. Especially in conservation🐘

Working together! 🤝

Here’s some positive conservation news that showcases just that!!

With support from Global Environment Facility , The Nature Conservancy is working with The Kasempa Conservation Foundation in Zambia to train and deploy forest scouts who come from the local community, to improve wildlife protection in their area.

These two communities and their forest management areas of about 159,850 hectares on the border of Kafue National Park in Zambia have seen how much this collaboration is working. Signs of elephants and other wildlife have been seen in this area for the first time in decades, a promising indication of the benefits of increased management and security.

This result has been a great support and encouragement for these communities to safeguard their environment, and in turn, create strong networks of conserved lands that provide habitats for wildlife; all of which improves the lives of Zambians through income generated and a collaborative approach to conservation.

As we see time and time again, if we want to make an impact, for good things to work (like conservation and protection of wildlife habitat) we need to work together. When we do that, we see results.

I just turned 46. It’s actually the age my mum passed away. It brings deep emotion and a determination to really live life even more to the fullest going forwards.

From this space I want to share a personal message, to each one of you…. those who’ve just joined me, and all who’ve been with me for a long while.

✨Thank you for your time, for following along as I share from my life as a photographer, lifestyle mentor, mother and lover of Nature.

✨Thank you for caring about Nature and the Nature Spaces we have left. The more we spend time in Nature the more we will love it and want to protect it.

✨Thank you for following along with me and my little girls as we live alongside the wonder and beauty of Nature daily. I hope we will keep inspiring you to stay connected with Nature, for your own health and happiness and the planets.

✨and. Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes!

You mean a lot.

… so much love💛

It was once believed that trees were solitary and self-sufficient beings, each one living independently from the others. However, recent studies have revealed that trees are social beings, communicating with each other in a complex and sophisticated network!

Scientists have discovered that trees are connected underground through a network of fungal threads called mycorrhizae. This network allows trees to share nutrients and information with each other, creating a system of mutual support and cooperation. Trees can even recognize their own offspring and send them extra nutrients to help them grow!

Ecologist Suzanne Simard found that forest trees can send chemical signals to each other through the air, warning neighboring trees of impending threats such as insect attacks or drought, allowing them to work together to defend against threats and maintain a healthy ecosystem.

This new understanding of trees challenges the notion of humans as the only intelligent beings. Perhaps we need to expand our definition of intelligence and rethink our relationship with the natural world.

By respecting and nurturing the natural world, we can create a more sustainable and harmonious future!

✨Remember to LOOK UP !🌙

For many of us who witness one, a solar eclipse is one of the most moving experiences on Earth. Watching one from some of the most remote and beautiful corners of the world lends a whole other level.

Kinshasa slowly turned a deep cloudy grey. The birds stopped tweeting, behind the city noise there was a deep quiet. At the time I actually had no idea I was experiencing a solar eclipse, I thought perhaps it was building up to rain. I certainly hadn’t thought to look up. The driver asked if I wanted to pull over to see The Eclipse… what, is one happening now?! 😁

Yes! Africa experienced a solar eclipse on 1 Sept 2016... here's my view from the crazy city of Kinshasa.

Around 31.6 million people live in the path of totality for today’s 2024 solar eclipse, compared to 12 million at the last solar eclipse that crossed the U.S. in 2017, according to NASA.

🌟Where are you right now? Are you watching the sky? Let me know in the comments!!

Magic happens.

Why make early rising a habit? Here’s 4 super reasons!

✨more daylight + golden light (natural mood booster!)
✨more quality time with family, kids or alone
✨time to fully wake up + be more focused
✨experiences you wouldn’t get if you were still in bed!

I’m not a morning person, but on the mornings I do get up early and get this time for myself, I always feel amazing!

🎞️ And then there are mornings like this …🙏🏾Thank you for giving us a morning we will remember for a very long time (and my much needed photography fix!)

🌟Hope this inspires you to wake up just a little earlier … catch the light, have “you” time or just to feel more awake in time for when your day really starts. It’s worth it!
