# ***THE BATTLE FOR FIA AFRICAN RALLY SUPREMACY REACHES “THE LAND OF A THOUSAND HILLS”***



The stage is set for the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally 2026, the penultimate round of the 2026 FIA African Rally Championship (ARC).



The event will feature 20 special stages covering 239.90km, with Leg 1 and Leg 2 taking place on gravel roads and qualifying on tarmac at Kigali Convention Centre (KCC).



The event will start with a free practice (ARC only), ceremonial start at KCC on July 10, followed by a shakedown and qualifying stage.



The rally will be run in compliance with the 2026 FIA International Sporting Code and its appendices, and will award points in the FIA ARC, ARC 2, ARC 3, ARC 4, and Junior ARC championships.



***RALLY LOCATION***

Iconic rally routes Gaseni (Gashenyi), Rushashi, and Thumba in Rwanda's Northern Province's Gakenke District will host stages of the Rwanda Mountain Gorilla Rally 2026.
