Nakuru County has handed over a project funded under Flloca program, that will enhance residents access to safe water, protect water catchment areas and help boost the safe storage of Agriculture produce and farm inputs.
At Chesirikwa primary school in Nyota ward Kuresoi North Sub-County, the construction of a 100,000 liters water tank, 3.5 km pipe laying and the afforestation of kiptenden wetland, will greatly reduce area residents over reliance on raw water from rivers and shallow wells.
The planting of tress at Kiptenden wetland will greatly save the areas riparian, wetlands and water catchment areas.
