There are 5 stages the Mugikuyu Woman go through. These are

1. Kang'ei - this is a newly married woman with little children. Her husband is called Kamatimu.

2. Karegeire - a woman would enter this stage when her child was circumisized In most cases the first born. Kindly note it was either tells boy or girl. Her husband was called Kiambi Kia Ugotho

3. Nyakinyua Nini - When one of her children got married, then the woman would graduate to the stage of Nyakinyua Nini. Her husband was called Muthuri Wa Horio

4. Nyakinyua Nguru - When her last born got married, she would them graduate to the Nyakinyua Nene stage. Her husband was called Muthuri Wa Mataathi

5. Kiheti - This was the final stage of a woman. She at this stage was a cucu, or even great grand mother like Maitu. Her wisdom and exprience was unmatched. Her husband was called Muthuri wa Maturanguru.

Traditionally women were not allowed to take part in most rituals. Especially those in stages 1, 2, 3, & 4. Those in Stage 5 were allowed in some rituals.

Take your time, read and understand the below brief touching on emerging crime within Kiambu.

SUBJECT: BRIEF ON A PROBOX MOTORVEHICLE THAT IS TRAVERSING KIAMBU AND MURANGA COUNTIES IN ABDUCTING VICTIMS AND ROBBING THEIR VALUABLES.

Reference is made to earlier reported cases of Abductions by a gang of 4 men armed with a pistol using Probix Silver/grey in colour.

1. Thika West vide OB.05/13/01/2026 At 0400 hours victim was bundled in silver probox KCX 788...Other details unknown, robbed off his handset and shot on the right side of his neck where bullet lodged and abandoned in Athena area in Kiandutu in Thika-Kiambu county.

2. Thika West OB. 99/22/01/2026 at 19:30hrs, where the victim was bundled in silver probox KCY 744s..., was later found murdered and dumped behind SPUR MALL in Mugutha (Juja area in Kiambu).

3.Muranga Gatanga OB.02/18/01/2026 at 04:00hrs, the victim bundled in a probox silver in colour reg.unknown..and transferred money and later dumped NDARUGO Hotel quarry area in (Juja in Kiambu).

4..LImuru OB. 06/24/01/2026 at 22:40hrs, the victim was bundled in a Probox Silver in colour KBY.. Other details were unknown and transferred money to an unknown number, and she was abandoned along Four-Ways bypass near Windsor hotel.

Specific Modus Operandi:

- Uses Motorvehicle Make probox, Silver in colour, of different registration numbers KCX 788..., KCY 744s, KBY...
- - A group of 4 - man gang armed with pistol and other crude weapons knives/metal/Fungus.
- Transfers money from victims mobile numbers to their fraudulent lines.
- Robbing victims as they approach their gates to their homes and bundles them inside the vehicle.

This gang is operating within Thika road, Juja, Ruiru, Kenol/Muranga, Githurai, Ruai and Limuru. Between 07:00pm - 12:00pm.{Midnight}

NB:If you spot a vehicle following you behind at night,DO NOT open your gates..

Report any suspicious vehicle i.e the one above indicated or any other hoovering around to Ngoingwa police station or Ngoingwa chiefs office immediately!!
