Those Who Had the Opportunity to Be at State House: Let Your Presence Reflect the Challenges of Our Industry, Not Personal Gain
The private security industry plays a vital role in safeguarding lives, property, and critical infrastructure across the country. As security professionals, we must remain vigilant not only in the ex*****on of our duties but also in protecting the integrity and unity of our profession.
Private security officers should exercise caution against being used by political interests as a stepping stone for personal or partisan gain. Our profession deserves respect, and our collective voice should never be exploited for agendas that do not address the genuine needs and aspirations of security officers.
To those who had the opportunity to be at State House, let your presence there serve as a reminder of the thousands of security officers you represent. Let your thoughts remain focused on the long-standing challenges facing our industry. Do not allow temporary gifts, favours, or personal benefits to overshadow the greater need for lasting reforms that will improve the lives of all private security officers.
We must recognize that, when united, our voice has the power to influence meaningful change. We have the same opportunities as every other profession to advocate for better standards, improved welfare, and a brighter future. Through hard work, professionalism, and strategic unity, we can build a stronger industry that commands the respect it deserves.

Our priority remains clear: comprehensive reforms that will create fair working conditions, ensure the full implementation of existing labour laws and industry regulations, improve remuneration and welfare, promote career development, and provide opportunities for economic empowerment. These reforms are essential to building a professional, respected, and sustainable private security sector for both current and future generations.
