First prize MARIO SOLINAS 2024!
Our Palace Blend receives the most prestigious international award in the world: the Mario Solinas Quality Award from the International Olive Council (COI).
With this blend we seek to share our deep knowledge of the different varieties and payments that we grow with so much care in our olive tree. Inspired by Scotland’s finest whiskey master blenders, we create exclusive extra virgin olive oils where the different tasting notes of each olive type evolve together and express the fullness of flavours and aromas that characterize them.
In the Blend del Palacio, we harmonise the greatest freshness of our Royal, Picual and Arbequino olives, creating an astonishing AOVE, which is in itself a unique experience for the palate.
The Mario Solinas Quality Contest, non-profit, has been held since 2000 and its objective is to improve the quality of the production of AOVE, as well as raise awareness to consumers about this product, so that they recognize and appreciate the most harmonious sensory and organoleptic attributes.
It's a great milestone that our young project of unique blends, Palacio Marques de Viana, has achieved 2 Mario Solinas awards in just 3 years. On the previous occasion, two editions ago, it was our Blend Sublime the AOVE that won the third prize of this prestigious contest.
