"Turning tech into lifelines"

For the women sea divers of South Korea, Cheil Korea 제일기획 and the Jeju Institute of Korean Medicine developed an app to safeguard them in emergencies by alerting nearby divers in real-time.

The smartwatch app "Haenyeo Safe buddy" is developed based on women divers' long-standing cooperative practice of looking out for one another during diving.
