DeltaTech-Korea Ltd. (DTK) has been providing global technology entrepreneurship since its foundation in 2000.

We provide networking services for open innovation to tech-based startups and SMEs(Small-Medium Enterprise). Our services include Technology Trading, Business Modeling, and Joint R&D, and the main service is international technology transfer. Through this, we help companies network and get a match with overseas companies or partners.

There is also an event called TEKTiTE, an online open innovation trade fair presented and hosted by DeltaTech-Korea.

We are running not only overseas branches in the US, but also a global operations network called DelBizNetwork(DBN), created through licensing deals with intermediaries in Israel, Hungary, and Belgium.

Moreover, we are engaged in the technology trade between Korea and Europe as a Korean partner of Enterprise Europe Network(EEN), the biggest technology cooperation network in the world.

DeltaTech-Korea Co., Ltd.(DTK below here) participated ‘2022 KOREA EUREKADAY’ in Estoril, Portugal, last June 21st~23rd.

‘2022 KOREA EUREKADAY’ is an international event, which supports the innovative growth of Korean companies and helps their foray into overseas markets by increasing R&D between Korea and Europe. Around 560 people including some public figures of EUREKA member states and domestic and international researchers participated in this event. It was hosted by Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Presidency of the Council of EUREKA Portugal, and Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology presided over the meeting.

There were domestic participating companies subjects of K-TAG(Korea Technology Advisory Group) Consulting(a total of 53 cases), a speech on the market landscape of hydrogen energy and a speech on the strategy of utilizing Digital Twin, and sharing the successful attempts at technology cooperation between Korea and Europe. Also, there was a Welcome Reception for celebrating Korea and Canada, and B2B technology consulting(a total of 154 cases).

On account of ‘2022 KOREA EUREKADAY’, Korea has been promoted to the full membership of EUREKA, the largest co-R&D platform in the world, for the first in the non-European countries by being recognized Korea’s outstanding R&D competency. Thereby Korea can take the lead in technology cooperation facing global tasks such as supply chain preoccupation competition, carbon-neutral, and digital transformation.

Success story: Automotive Ecosystem Connection
Cluster-to-cluster between Gwangju Institute of Green-Car Advancement(GIGA) and Automotive Cluster Bulgaria(ACB)

GIGA was established in 2011 and is located in Gwangju, Korea with the vision of a hub institute to promote the business of clustering eco-friendly automotive parts in order to lead future automobile parts industry.

In 2020, DeltaTech-Korea Ltd(DTK) tied a business relationship with GIGA by successfully carrying out a “Foreign demand research and marketing service for autonomous low-speed specialty vehicles”

Formed a solid relationship by conducting not only in 2020 but also in 2021 linkage second year project, DTK which is Enterprise Europe Network(EEN) nodes in Korea promoted the signing of a Cluster to Cluster(C2C) MOU between GIGA and Automotive Cluster Bulgaria(ACB) in Bulgaria.

With the help of DTK’s Spanish branch, GIGA and ACB signed a C2C MOU on 11 November 21. In compliance with MOU, ACB invited GIGA to a conference organized by the Cluster Association of Innovative Technologies(BRAIT) which includes ACB.

Furthermore GIGA was invited again to a forum named Automotive-Mobility Forum, top-level event in Europe by showing pitching video under the theme Sustainability in the automotive industry.

Considering it is not common for Korean and European institutions to sign a C2C MOU and leads to active collaboration rather than just signing an MOU, this case is sufficient first-step to connect cluster ecosystem collaboration as a successful story of the C2C MOU.

In order to establish an eco-friendly mobility ecosystem, GIGA is continuing to collaborate with DTK to create new success stories by planning a business to enter the U.S. market in 2022.
