We normally do not write “long copy,” but this post needs some explaining to do 😊 First of all, this is not a “reverse psychology trick” to show you that we are cool, no, it’s more like an apology letter to the clients we did not have a chance to meet over the years. Ever since we started Twelve East in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, one thing, and one thing only, brought us together: PASSION.
Yes, that might sound generic, but we knew if we molded our careers into something we love doing, money would come at later stages, and thankfully, it did. Now, why can’t we onboard more clients at this stage? The answer is simple:
A) We’re a small team; a tight-knit family of seniors (by seniors, we mean each individual has 10-15 years of experience in their own field, rarely less). Each team member handles 1-2 brands MAX, so juggling brands for more income and compromising quality is simply not our style 🙂↔️
B) “Grow your team!” “Hire more employees!” Those statements are easy to throw around in a boardroom meeting, but how can we? First of all, we do not believe in “Job roles.” In other words, the 9-5 job structure (which was invented during the industrial revolution, specifically in factories) is not part of our DNA; that alone slashes our new entry-level candidates by 90% 🤗
C) Speaking of talent, we do believe in specialization; however, we do something different (and weird in most cases). Statisticians call it “cross tabulation.” We do it mentally and physically in our practice. In other words, a regular team member not only knows how to ideate, structure, and execute a full-fledged online and offline campaign, but you’d be surprised that some of our marketers know more about color science than colourists do, and some of our DOPs know more about Ad structure and leads more than advertisers do. We are not bragging, it’s just who we are ✨
In brief, our clients value us as much as we value them, and we’re proud that many of them are onboard with us for years now. So if we did not have a chance to set a meeting after you reached out, please do not take it the wrong way. When the time is right, rest assured, we will find a way to reach out 🙏🏼
