A bad week is not a broken strategy β but most business owners react like it is.
Sales dip for a few days, panic kicks in, and the entire e-commerce strategy gets rebuilt. Then performance gets worse, because the data is now confused and the momentum is gone.
Before you change anything, ask 3 questions:
1) Is this a data problem or a feeling problem? Short-term drops feel bigger than they are. Look at trends, not emotions. Data tells the truth over time.
2) What actually changed? Check traffic, conversion rate, average order value, seasonality, and external context. Data without context creates bad decisions.
3) What happens if you do nothing? Not every dip requires action. Sometimes observation is the smartest move. Reacting too fast often creates more problems than it solves.
If you can't answer all three clearly, the issue is usually temporary, emotional, or just needs more observation. So don't change the strategy yet.
The calm operator who reads the context beats the one who panics every time a number wobbles.
