I’m old enough to remember when “technology in marketing” meant a fax machine that worked “most” of the time, and a single email address for the whole agency.
Fast forward to today, and our industry has gone full sci-fi with AI tools, automation platforms, dashboards, data layers, and a new “must-try” app every other week.
At Tower, we use technology every day to work smarter, move faster, and uncover insights that make campaigns sharper. From project management tools to messaging apps, it keeps us connected across teams, clients, and time zones.
But sometimes the best ideas still come from a pen, a whiteboard, and a team that knows how to think. And often, the fastest way to solve something is still the simplest: picking up the phone, or popping by someone’s desk for a five-minute chat.
The truth is, all this technology can make everything feel like it needs to happen faster. But great ideas still take time — to think, to question, to collaborate.
For me, it’s about balance. Using tech where it adds value, not noise. The goal isn’t to replace creativity or connection, it’s to enhance it.
Because at the end of the day, marketing is still about people. The tools just help us reach them better.
