2024 Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association - CIMPA Agency of the Year 🧡
When I came to Cayman, I arrived with no job, no money, and a baby.
I worked my way up to becoming the Marketing Manager of the National Trust.
After five years, I took on my first client.
When I landed my second client, my husband suggested that I needed a name.
So, in 2016, Out of the Blu was born, signifying the personal growth I experienced. I realized I needed more for my life—more for our daughter, Blu.
Through my spiritual journey, I decided to rebrand in 2021. I had an "Ah Ha" moment: everything I stood for was already there in two magic letters—BU out of BlU.
As a team, we stand on giving hope to those who feel hopeless. I want to thank Cassandra , my first employee, who just needed someone to believe in her. Little did she know, I needed someone to believe in me too. Tattianna my two-handed wizard, and my husband John Watler who is just as big a part of this as I am.
In supporting me, you are supporting a marriage, two children, and a dream.
So tonight, I leave you with this: trust the timing of your life.
I have been the Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association - CIMPA host, and I’ve led the Fireside Chat for CIMPA, but I never submitted.
With a little push from my friends, I finally believed it was my time.
I always knew I was capable. Through healing, I now believe I am deserving. And through my clients and their feedback, I now understand my value.
Through it all, I give God thanks.
The beauty of a story is it's always evolving.
