The history of the appearance of latte takes us to Italy, to the 40s of the last century.
We have Italian mothers to thank for creating our favorite drink 😉
Almost everyone in Italy drinks coffee, from young to old, but, of course, no one poured espresso for children.

Americano gets its name from the drink American soldiers drank in Italy during World War II. Traditional Italian espresso proved too strong for soldiers accustomed to milder American coffee. By diluting the espresso with water, they felt the taste of home. This is how Americano was born!

This happened in 1901; the mechanism for producing espresso was invented by Luigi Bezzera. The steam produced by the machine was used to froth milk. The result was a drink whose color combination was very reminiscent of the colors of the clothes of the Capuchin monks - dark brown and white. Hence the name cappuccino.
