The history of espresso began in 1905, when the world's first espresso machine was manufactured. The hot steam turned into water, which passed through the ground coffee under pressure. Of course, the taste of the coffee that was obtained in this way was strikingly different from the espresso that you and I drink.

Americano was invented by Italians who were faced with an influx of American soldiers during World War II. The American military ordered coffee, but they did not like the Italian espresso: the cup was too small and the taste was too rich.

The history of the appearance of latte takes us to Italy, to the 40s of the last century.
We have Italian mothers to thank for creating our favorite drink 😉
Almost everyone in Italy drinks coffee, from young to old, but, of course, no one poured espresso for children.
And then, so that Italian children could also try everyone’s favorite coffee, it was poured into a mug with a lot of milk; it was this recipe that served as the basis for the modern latte.
The barista’s flight of imagination is limitless: syrups are added to the latte, pictures are drawn on the foam, and ice is also added to it.

Initially, it appeared on the menu of Starbucks coffee shops in 1989; company representatives claimed that latte macchiato coffee was prepared according to a traditional Italian recipe. However, it is known that Italians are not particularly fond of lattes, preferring cappuccino. A couple of years later, the drink was removed from the range.
