The history of espresso dates back to 1884 in the north of Italy, in the city of Turin. Angelo Moriondo, in an effort to satisfy the guests of his bar, presents an invention - the first coffee machine. Coffee made in this way is called "Espresso", which means "squeezed out" in Italian.
