is an established architectural and planning firm that takes a humanistic approach to design, placing importance on the lived experience of the project. For their «Works 25» book, commemorating 30 years of design and summing up the last 7 years, a minimalist design approach was taken for the creative direction of the inside layout text hierarchy, separators and special edition sleeve. Inspired by the circular images found on the back of previous «Works» publications, small perforation dots were used on the sleeve to capture the different shades of blue on the cover underneath. They also represent a constellation of thirty key projects, one per year, listed chronologically on the inner sleeve.

.fr is a platform for Levantine artisans where history and sustainable craftsmanship is celebrated in the form of slow movement tableware, meticulously curated for the contemporary European market. For the visual identity, a back to basics design approach included experimenting with cyanotypes and hand carved stamps as part of the process. This evolved into a unique emblem and dynamic visual language, reflecting the natural handmade quality of the pieces and their unwavering connection to the gentle liveliness of the land. The original Green Dot symbol is used on a countless number of products to indicate that a payment has been made by the company or brand towards recycling efforts. Due to its use of arrows (similar to the recycle symbol) it has largely been misunderstood by the public to mean that the package itself is recyclable. Agreeing entirely with notion that the original Green Dot symbol is misleading in this way, we decided to take part in the brief created by and to reimagine the Green Dot.
Our submission took a minimal design approach to bring back the original meaning of the symbol which is that a payment has been made to recycling efforts and the institution using the symbol has now joined a pool of other institutions who have done the same - a group of smaller green dots together making one large green dot, reflecting unity and common purpose.

Introducing the new VPHB logo: a symbol of unity and heritage. As a vital organization, VPHB binds together the highly complex and beautiful monuments of the Netherlands, from majestic gardens and buildings to serene chapels and waterways. Inspired by the detailed artistry of historic church drawings, our logo aimed to capture the beauty of these estates, which are not only landmarks in the Dutch landscape but also sanctuaries for diverse wildlife and peaceful havens for local communities. Each element of the identity is designed to reflect VPHB’s commitment to preserving heritage, nature, and community identity, a theme we’ve carried through in designing their website as well.
