The American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Startup Megaphone are proud to announce Start Up Lebanon - Silicon Valley Roadshow, a 1-week executive tour of San Francisco, Palo Alto, Mountain View, and more, featuring site visits, luncheons, business meetings, and dinners with leading tech companies, entrepreneurs, investors, accelerators, and Silicon Valley veterans, leading up to a VIP Gala Dinner & Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel on the evening of Friday the 16th of September.
The Silicon Valley Roadshow will take place from the 12th to the 17th of September 2016, with flights departing from Lebanon on the 10th of September and returning on the morning of the 18th.
Building on the tremendous success of Start Up Lebanon - NYC 2015 [which brought together over 300 attendees, including entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals representing the best of Lebanon’s startup ecosystem alongside industry leaders and executives from NYC and Washington DC], the American Lebanese Chamber of Commerce and Startup Megaphone are organizing Lebanon’s 1st startup roadshow in North America, joining forces to ensure a large, representative delegation of startups, investors, and ecosystem stakeholders from Lebanon meet, network, and connect with industry leaders in California.
The Silicon Valley Roadshow will:
- Bring together decisionmakers from the USA and Lebanon at the VIP Gala Dinner & Conference.
- Expose key stakeholders from Lebanon’s startup ecosystem to best practices in investing, acceleration, mentorship, community building, and more.
- Connect industry leaders in Lebanon with startup veterans in the Valley to facilitate bridge building, knowledge sharing, and business development.
- Foster innovation in Lebanon through immersive onsite experiential journeys at half a dozen leading international tech companies.
- Facilitate fundraising for Lebanese startups, accelerators, and VCs by connecting them with top US VCs, accelerators, and angel investors.
- Highlight the Middle East and North African market opportunity to US startups, investors, and accelerators, and Lebanon’s role as its gateway.
