Introducing the brand identity redesign project I had the privilege to work on for the renowned car trading and selling company, VS Lanka! 🇱🇰✨

In my quest to capture the essence of VS Lanka's dynamic spirit, I crafted a captivating and powerful brand identity that seamlessly blends form and function. Drawing inspiration from the elegant curves and distinctive features of cars, I meticulously designed a fusion of their initials, "V" and "S," incorporating elements reminiscent of car lights, side mirrors, and windshields.

By infusing the perfect balance of modern aesthetics and timeless design, this innovative combination mark not only showcases VS Lanka's unique mark but also highlights their name, establishing a strong visual presence.

Understanding the psychological impact of colors, I opted for the bold and invigorating shade of red. Symbolizing energy, passion, and determination, this vibrant hue adds a touch of excitement and allure to the brand, evoking a sense of anticipation in every potential customer.

With this captivating redesign, VS Lanka is now equipped with a brand identity that commands attention and sets them apart in the competitive automotive industry. CodeSec is an IT firm based in Sri Lanka that specializes in web development, software development & cyber security. I designed their brand identity using market research and color psychology methods that will appeal to their consumer base. I used a font that aligns with their values and the aesthetic of their brand.

The letters "O" and "D" were combined in the design to create an infinity mark to showcase their potential and the talent they possess. On top of that, to make their brand identity a cohesive design, the infinity mark creates an illusion of the letters "C" and "S" to pay homage to their company name CodeSec. The color pallette used for the design is a result of the color psychology research we conducted to reach the maximum appeal in their targeted consumers.

Also I desigined unique brand applications for them including a letterhead, a business card and their clothing merchandise.

Desserts Gallore is a homemade dessert-selling business based in Srilanka. I was tasked to design their brand identities & create effective touchpoints to increase brand awareness. The client wanted the business to be distinct in the market. The main goal of designing their brand identity is to reach high-end clients & to increase their product's value addition.
So I took design inspiration from a royal emblem to give the business a luxurious look. Also, the client wanted the logo to be so attractive and memorable. So I chose a strong colour palette with variations of red and yellow colours.
This project gave me a whole new experience since I had to face some challenges during the ideation process. The business sells dessert items and it's a very common food item in the market & it's a highly competitive industry. I overcame this challenge by considering the logo's design aesthetics & by using colour psychology theories when choosing the colour palette.

Logo design originates from a question mark that reflects their name "Unknwn". The approach is a typography design with a blend of their value as a company built into it. The whole text is an extension of a question mark to represent the values they represent ie: curiosity and passion.

Ayora is a beauty salon based in Srilanka. At the time they were planning to rebrand their business. I was tasked to design a simple logo that attracts a luxurious clientele. They also wanted it to be memorable as it could be.

This logo is a typography logo reflecting the luxuriousness of the brand. My main goal was to maintain its simplicity because the client wanted it to become a memorable one.

It's 2022 already, so many businesses are getting digitalized, at least has a website. This was one factor I considered. Since most of brands trying to give a mobile first experience for their consumers, I made it simple as I could so it would be more applicable across any media.
