Program: Beginners Chess Program
Format: Online via Zoom
Schedule: Saturdays, 5 PM - 6 PM (One-hour lesson weekly)
Fees: 2000 Sri Lankan Rupees per month (500 per lesson)

Coach Sachini’s "Chess for Kids" program aims to make chess accessible and affordable for all. With a focus on beginner-friendly lessons, this program is perfect for young minds ready to explore the world of chess. Absolutely beginners can join, starting from age 5+.
The first series of lessons will cover the basics of chess, including:
1. What is chess?
2. Introduction to the chessboard and pieces
3. Piece movements
We will cover all basic rules of chess, and teach what is involved in the opening, middlegame, and endgame. The program also includes basic chess tactical themes. These monthly series are designed for kids to learn chess from basic to intermediate level.
