# # # They Are Not Our Enemies…
# # # We Are the Ones Who Entered Their Home. 🐘
When an elephant walks along a quiet forest path,
it is not simply searching for food…
It is following a path passed down through generations.
But today, those ancient paths
run through villages, farmlands,
railway tracks and busy roads.
On one side, a human life…
On the other, an elephant’s life…
An electric fence, a railway train, a vehicle,
a hakapatas explosive, or a human-made trap
can bring us to a moment
where one of these lives may be lost.
**The human–elephant conflict
is not a war between elephants and people.
It is the result of our failure to find
a better way to share the same land.**
Elephants need the forest.
People need their homes and livelihoods.
So instead of searching for a winner,
**let us create a future where both can live.**
When we save an elephant today,
we are not saving just one life.
**We are protecting
a forest…
an ecosystem…
and tomorrow.** 🌿🐘
**Let us share this land.
Let us make room for them to live.**
