After years of dedicated work, Cyril retired not to rest, but to return to his first love: tea. A lifelong admirer of Ceylon tea, Cyril found more than just flavor in a cup, he found comfort, culture, and soul. So he made a plan, not for leisure, but for legacy.

He chose this piece of paradise, a 10 acre land located in Gongauwa situated near a beautiful stream of water to begin his journey. There, with his own hands and heart, he began crafting Cyril’s Tea: a premium, small-batch Ceylon tea born of tradition and passion.

Cyril grows and produces black tea, green tea, and curated variations that celebrate the rich terroir of southern Sri Lanka. Each leaf is handpicked, carefully processed, and infused with his personal touch.

But Cyril didn’t stop at making tea, he wanted people to experience it. Visitors from around the world are welcome to walk the tea fields, witness the artisanal tea-making process, and taste the freshness right where it’s grown. It’s more than a plantation, it’s a story in motion.

Today, Cyril’s Tea stands as a tribute to preserving the rich taste of Ceylon tea. It’s a retirement plan that bloomed into a legacy — a gift from one man’s love of tea to the world.
